I absolutely love the Hyde Park location of The Piping Kettle! The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and always spotless — the perfect spot to unwind with a bowl of incredible soup. Their Hearty Vegetable is exactly what comfort food should be — rich, flavorful, and full of fresh, perfectly cooked vegetables. The Yellow Pepper with Smoked Gouda is an absolute standout — silky, smoky, and deliciously unique. And the Zuppa Toscana? Creamy, savory perfection with the perfect balance of spice and flavor. You can taste the quality and care in every spoonful. The staff here are always friendly and genuinely attentive, making the whole experience feel special every time. PIPING KETTLE A clean and peaceful restaurant with polite staIff and delicious sandwiches. I highly recommend trying the broccoli and cheddar soup,I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I did!

I would say one of the best places to eat in London! Delicious soups and sandwiches that you should try! Also a lot of vegetarian and vegan options! Staff are nice and friendly, the place is very clean and well-maintained.

I walked to this place as it is in my neighbourhood. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with chicken BBQ which was on special for 8.49 +tax. Sandwich was loaded with chicken and a bit on the spicy side which made it delicious although I would’ve liked more vegetables. I also picked up the frozen soup as 1 litre for 8.50 plus tax seems a good price. I usually buy the Farm Boy soups so will see how this one compare with the ones I buy at Farm Boy. The place is clean and there are tables inside and outside. I would’ve probably sat outside if today was not such a windy day. I didn’t have to wait long for the staff to make the sandwich which I also appreciated. There is free street parking so I also like that if I feel like driving. Overall a nice place which I am sure I will visit again soon.

I work down the road from the Hyde Park location and love coming in to grab lunch or dinner. The soups here are chef’s kiss. I have never had one I dislike! Staff are always so friendly and prompt. Great location, I am so glad it opened!

I wish London had more spots like this. Fresh, local, delicious, affordable, a staple in the community to go for an intimate lunch, quick take-out or grab for a couple days in the fridge, amazing sandwich to eat at Springbank on a bench, or sit in to do some work. I check the menu daily for my favourites and come here all too often. I recommend this to everyone and anyone I know. Staff are kind and I love all of the locations. I even came here NYE for a soup and to journal!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Spot for Fresh Soup Nice little soup place offering both dine-in and take-out options. The soups are made fresh and taste homemade. The staff is friendly, the space is clean, and there's a washroom available for customers. Free parking is a bonus. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
